When to go to an Emergency Room?

Before we look at the minor emergency room options in the Tulsa regions, let’s first look at when you might want to go to an emergency room.  When you go to the emergency room, it can be expensive to pay.  It might be tempting to simply ignore the pain you are in after a car crash.  Maybe you just shrug it off as “I’m sore” and say “It will go away eventually”.  The problem is that depending on the circumstances of your crash you could be setting yourself up for future problems.  If you were injured in a car accident, now is the time to investigate your injuries.  When you file your insurance claim, the money paid out might be proportionate to hospitalization expenses.

Minor Emergencies in Tulsa

In Tulsa there are three minor emergency rooms spread out over an eight mile radius or so.  There is an Access Medical Center on Garnett.  There’s also an Access Medical Center on Utica (downtown Tulsa).  In addition to these two Access Medical Centers, there is an additional minor emergency room on Yale called MedExpress. All of these minor emergency rooms are options should you need to go get checked out after a car accident.
